Materials Overview

We present six unique materials in this new collection, including four rare natural woods and two modern wood composites that use cutting-edge craftsmanship.

Rosewood

Rosewood is a tropical hardwood that can take centuries to grow before it’s suitable for use. The material beneath the bark and the central hole is what’s used for crafting small items, known for its hard and compact texture, ideal for carving. Legend has it that a miniature rosewood coffin model was placed before Napoleon’s tomb, and it was considered an extremely rare artifact.

Penarahan 

Found in tropical regions of America and Africa, Penarahan wood has a distinctive dark line between its center and the edge. The central material, which is dense and reddish-brown, is the only part suitable for creating dice.

Green Sandalwood

Green sandalwood, found primarily in the Americas (United States, Brazil, Caribbean Islands, and Central America), is known for its green or pale green center. The cross-section of the raw wood is speckled with green spots, making it an exceptional collector's piece.

Red Oak

Only found in the United States, Red Oak is a hard, dense material with excellent mechanical processing capabilities, making it ideal for use in dice.

Red-Orange-Grey Tri-Color Wood 

This modern material is crafted by dyeing hard wood slices in different colors and then processing them into dice. It is resistant to moisture, corrosion, and deformation, outperforming natural wood in durability.

Red-Blue-Yellow Tri-Color Wood

This composite wood material is designed with modern techniques, offering both aesthetic appeal and exceptional durability.

Material Features

Wooden dice are lighter than those made of gemstone or resin, with the total weight of each set being 33 g. Compared to gemstone and resin dice, wooden dice are sturdier and less prone to cracking or chipping from throws. If you play on a wooden tabletop, wooden dice are especially recommended as they won’t scratch the surface and will harmonize with the environment of your game.
