The Inspiration
We’ve always been fascinated by color-shifting effects often seen on trading cards. After a bit of research, we discovered that this magical transformation is thanks to special printing inks—some react to heat, while others change color under UV light. That sparked an idea:
What if we could bring this magic into tabletop gaming?
So we began experimenting—mixing photochromic materials into resin—and after countless tests, we finally created these sunlight-reactive dice.
Design Details
To make each die even more mystical, we added mica powders and iridescent foil flakes, forming a shimmering, dreamlike core within the resin. When light hits it just right, you’ll glimpse a beautiful glow inside—like catching a glimpse of magic.
These dice roll evenly and reliably, making them perfect for actual gameplay. Their sharp edges enhance their brilliance, giving them the feel of finely cut gemstones.
How It Works
Simply place the dice in direct sunlight or under UV light, and watch the color shift begin in just 5 seconds!
